| I received an email from divebums.com sent by 'Callie' asking if anyone wanted her old tank she was getting rid of. I said yes with the intention of converting this old pile of rust into a bell. I've made bells from Alum, but never an old 72 and I was curious to hear what it sounded like. Callie and I made arrangements to meet at the shores for a quick tour of the point and exchange the tank. Hearing Callie was a new diver, I was worried about the usual problems, but Callie displayed some fantastic skills for a very new-ish diver. Our dive was fun filled 50 minutes at max 54' with min temp of 51deg. Here are a few pics from the dive.       |
