6/5/2012 - Hectic Month

After planning for twenty years to write a book about Palos Verdes diving, I finally published my "masterpiece" last month. I expected to sell twenty copies or so, but the local dive commnuity's reaction has shocked even me!

I sold 135 copies within the first month. I've had two book signings and am scheduled as the guest speaker at five dive clubs. I wasn't expecting all of this attention. Maybe some day I'll have people come up and ask if I'm Phil Garner rather than Max Bottomtime. :)
